On Board Gatimaan Express

India's First semi-high speed train kick-starts tomorrow on the Delhi-Agra-Delhi Route. Gatimaan Express will run at a maximum speed of 160 km per hour, covering the 200 km plus long distance in 100 minutes.





The "Make In India" train has coaches built at Kapurthala Railway Coach Factory in the Punjab, bio-toilets developed by the Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and interiors from other Indian companies. The cost of the train in around Rs 50 crore.

Gatimaan Express will depart Nizamuddin at 8.10 AM to reach Agra at 9.50 AM. For the day, a tour package involves bus service, sightseeing and lunch at Agra for tourists.

The return train will depart from Agra at 5.50 PM to reach Nizamuddin Station at 7.30 PM.
